Happy Independence Day 2024 ( Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav ): Independence Day is celebrated annually on 15 August as a public holiday in India commemorating the nation's independence from the United Kingdom on 15 August 1947, the day when the provisions of the Indian Independence Act, which transferred legislative sovereignty to the Indian Constituent Assembly, came into effect.Independence Day is not just a commemoration of freedom from colonial rule; it is a tribute to the sacrifices of countless martyrs who laid down their lives for the nation's sovereignty. It serves as a reminder of the values of democracy, justice, and equality enshrined in the Constitution.Keeping this one of India's most special day in mind different children of different classes participated in different activities in our school.The students of class II participated in National Flag Making activity, students of class III participated in Tri - Colour flower Making activity , class IV students participated in Tri-colour batch Making activity and class V students participated in Making of classroom decor with Tri-colour.
